Congratulations to PINnacle wrestlers at the Christmas Tournament who came away with 6 Championships. Nate Thomas at 103 of Kasson Mantorville, Cody Paulsen at 112 of Totino Grace, Dylan Wright at 119 of Simley, Dakota Trom at 125 of Apple Valley, Ben Morgan at 130 of Forest Lake, and Jake Waste at 171 of Apple Valley all walked away with titles at the Minnesota Christmas tournament. Congrats!
PINnacle Wrestler Jake Waste wins Amateur Division at UNO collegiate open; Jake Waste, a junior at Apple Valley High School, won the University of Nebraska-Omaha open this past weekend in the 20 and under division at 165 lbs. defeating 4 college opponents including a 3-2 win in the finals.
PINnacle Chiropractor, Jacob Volkmann, fights at UFC 106: Jacob Volkmann had a great fight at UFC 106 against one of the best 170 lbers in the world, Paulo Thiago. Thiago came out on top with a unanimous decision giving Volkmann his first loss in his career.

Jason Cirksena signs letter of intent with Mankato State University; PINnacle wrestler Jason Cirksena, who placed 3rd in state for Kasson Mantorville High School in 2009, has signed a LOI to wrestle for the Mavericks next season. Jason is projected as 157 lber in college.
Drew Fleming signs with Division I South Dakota State; PINnacle wrestler Drew Fleming, a two time state champion who wrestles for Watertown-Mayer High School, signed a LOI with the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. Drew is projected as a 125/133 lber in college.
Tyler Lehmann signs with University of Minnesota; Former PINnacle member who moved back to North Dakota signed a LOI with the University of Minnesota Gophers. Tyler wrestled for Apple Valley and was a two time state champion and last summer was a Junior National finalist. Tyler will be a 184 or 197 lber in College. Tyler will join past PINnacle members Jake Deitchler, David Thorn, Danny Zilverberg, David Zilverberg, and Jake Kettler as a Golden Gopher.

PINnacle High School Program
PINnacle Wrestling Program is offering High School wrestlers the option of signing up for all of the sessions at a reduced rate of $1500 for the year. Contact us if you would like more information.
PINnacle Youth Program Over 100 Wrestlers (updated 8/20)
The PINnacle Wrestling program has over 100 wrestlers signed up for their youth session. These wrestlers under the direction of PINacle directors Jared Lawrence and Brandon Paulson will look to be the future of Minnesota Wrestling. Click here to view the youth roster.
David Thorn Wins National Freestyle Championship at 125 Pounds and Several Other PINnacle Wrestlers Place.
David Thorn wrapped up a successful weekend at the ASICS Cadet and Junior National Championships in Fargo, bringing home the 125 pound Freestyle National Championship. Thorn wasn't the only PINnacle wrestler to finish the weekend strong. Jake Kettler took 2nd at Heavyweight, Justin LaValle took 7th at 130 pounds and Tyler Lehman took 3rd at 189 pounds.

PINnacle wrestlers Jake Waste won the Cadet 160lb group at the 2009 ASICS Grec-Roman Cadet National Championships in Fargo. Jake went undefeated throughout the tournament.
PINnacle also had two other wrestlers in the finals Monday night. Sam Barnacle and Dan Dick both took second place. Congratulations to all Minnesota Wrestlers.
