Silvis, Nelson, and Wells earn World Team spots at the U15 Nationals

Zach Silvis, Gavin Nelson, and Tyler Wells won the U15 Nationals, and earned a spot on the World Team. They will be competing in Budapest, Hungary in June. 

Zach won the 44kg division in Greco Roman. He dominated his opponents with excellent positioning, and wrestled with a lot of confidence.

Gavin Nelson was the champion at the 75kg in Greco Roman. Gavin dominated his opponents up to the finals, and then conquered in 2 decisive matches in the finals.

Tyler Wells won the Freestyle championship at 41kg.  Tyler had to go through some hammers on his way to the title, and won convincingly in all of his matches. 

Other finalist include Elijah Paulson at 48kg Greco Roman who jumped levels this weekend, but lost in 3 matches in the finals. Caleb Thoennes was a finalist at 41kg in Greco Roman and had some outstanding throws throughout the weekend. Antony Tuttle has made huge strides and was a finalist at 75kg in Freestyle.
