Congrats to Ethan Cota, Victor Gliva, Adam Hedin, Mitchell McKee, Griffin Parriott, Lucas Jeske, and Taylor Venz on competing for Team MN vs USA Dream Team! Scrambling Adam Hedin pulled the upset of the night by defeating nationally 8th ranked Kyle Norstrem with a 5 point Peterson roll. Mitchell McKee dominated his opponent, #7 Brent Moore, 10-2 in a matchup of extremely strong individuals!

This weekend Griffin Parriott(152, New Prague), Hunter Marko (145, Amery), and Mitchell McKee(138, STMA),along with USA Team Honorary Coach Brandon Paulson, will be headed to Pittsburgh to take on Pennsylvania's best.  Here is a short preview.  Rankings are based on FloWrestling national rankings. Here is a link to the event, which is March 26th at 5PM live on FloWrestling.com.

138 Mitchell McKee(5th) vs Mickey Phillippi(3rd)

These 2 wrestled in the fall of 2014 in the consi-semis of Super 32 with Phillippi winning a close decision. Phillippi slows the pace down on his feet, and is good on top.  Mitchell will need to push the action on his feet, and finish strong as Phillippi is hard to finish on.

145 Hunter Marko (8th at 138) vs Mike Carr (10th)

These 2 have never wrestled.  Carr shoots a lead leg single, and is long and strong.  Hunter will need to get to his ties, get to the legs, and wrestle a full 6 minutes as his conditioning is excellent.

152 Griffin Parriott(2nd) vs Hayden Hidlay(3rd)

This rivalry currently sits at 2 and 2, with Parriott winning the last bout at Super 32's.  Hidlay has a strong left arm underhook, and is very powerful. Griffin will need to control his positions, continue moving his opponent, and score points to win!
