UPDATE GRECO: 4/28- Greco finished with Coach Pat Smith making it to the finals of the US Open with a bruising disqualification win over World Teamer Alex Sancho, but lost in the finals to long time rival RaVaughn Perkins. Tyler Eischens had two falls, and a tech to earn a trip to the UWW Junior(20U) finals, but lost to Wisconsin's Tyler Dow in the finals. They both qualify for the World Team Trials later this spring.

UPDATE FREESTYLE: Greg Kerkvliet wins UWW Junior Division with Tech Falls throughout and not getting scored upon, a dominant performance. Brady Berge lost in a close finals match 2-2. 4 wrestlers earned All-American honors in the Senior Freestyle tournament. Coach Jayson Ness, Carson Brolsma, Skyler Petry, and Griffin Parriott.

Original Story: The US Open is this week in Vegas. In Vegas the Senior(Olympic level) have the National Tournament for Greco and Freestyle. Along with this tournament, UWW Junior(20U) will also have the National Tournament for this age group. Both of these tournaments will be qualifiers for the upcoming World Team Trials! Along with these tournaments there is also Western Regionals in the Youth - Junior age groups. Here is where you can find the PINnacle Wrestlers competing.
With Alumni, current athletes, and current coaches, 21 wrestlers will be competing in all Men's divisions in Vegas. Returning World Team member, and University World Medalist, Coach Pat Smith headlines the group looking to repeat in the Greco Senior Division at 72KG. NCAA Champion Jayson Ness will be looking to gut his way to a national title at 65KG in Senior Freestyle. UWW Greco features former Fargo Greco Champion Alex Lloyd at 67KG, who will be wrestling both styles. Cadet World Champion Greg Kerkvliet, Former Cadet World Team members Brady Berge,and Aaron Cashman, and Junior Freestyle Champion Patrick McKee headline the group competing in the UWW Freestyle portion looking to earn a bye to the finals of the UWW Junior World Team Trials.
Brandon and Jared will be in Vegas coaching as well.
