Emily Shilson came back from winning the World Championships and won her 5th Fargo Cadet/Junior National title. Not to be outdone, Macey Kilty did the same in winning a Junior National title after winning Worlds 2 weeks before. Paxton Creese won a Greco title with an impressive final performance, and a gutsy win in the semifinals.

Emily and Macey dominated the competition with neither one going into the 2nd period. Emily outscored her opponents 42-2, and Macey 53-0. Macey had her "Kilty bombs" in the semifinals and finals with 5pt belly to back throws. Emily dominated again with her 2on1 and gut wrench!

Paxton Creese won his first Fargo title with a Junior National Greco title. Paxton made a step forward in his wrestling with a gritty win in the semifinals. The finals were impressive with his parterre combination of reverse lifts and gut wrenches.

We always encourage wrestlers to compete in both styles. One of the reasons is that it is so tough to do. To All-American in both styles is extremely impressive. This year, 3 wrestlers achieved that feat;Jore Volk, Alex Lloyd, and Tyler Eischens. With each of these wrestlers also making the finals in one of the styles!
